About Sober Living

A sober living home is a structured, supportive place to live for people in recovery. It bridges the gap between treatment and independent living, offering peer community, shared accountability, and a safe environment where recovery can take hold.
Steady Ground Living is for adults who are committed to their sobriety and looking for a stable, supportive home to continue their recovery. We are genuinely welcoming and not here to judge where you have been. We are here to walk alongside you toward where you are going.
Every situation is a little different, so we prefer to talk through admissions requirements personally rather than give a one-size-fits-all answer. Please reach out and we will have an honest, kind conversation about whether we are the right fit for you.
Yes. Steady Ground Living welcomes participants on medication-assisted treatment such as Suboxone or Methadone. MAT is a valid part of many recovery journeys. Please mention it during your intake conversation so we can make sure we are the right fit for you.

House Rules and Expectations

Our participant requirements cover everything from sobriety expectations to program fees and are published in full on our application page. Every house may also have a few of its own guidelines, which will be covered during your intake conversation.
Yes. Curfew times vary by house and differ between weekdays and weekends. Overnight passes are available and can be arranged with advance notice to house leadership.
Participants attend Sunday afternoon house meetings as a key part of our community. Everyone is also encouraged to engage with a recovery program of their own choosing, whether that is AA, NA, SMART Recovery, or another path that works for them.
We take relapse seriously because your life and your recovery matter. Our process starts with a structured, honest conversation rather than immediate removal. The outcome depends on the circumstances and your commitment to moving forward. We are not here to give up on you.

Payments and Billing

Program fees vary by house and are discussed clearly during your intake conversation so there are no surprises. You can pay your weekly program fee securely through the Sobriety Hub app using a debit card, credit card, or bank account.
Finances can be one of the most stressful parts of early recovery, and we want to help as much as we can. Whether we can work with program funding, scholarships, or financial assistance is something we are happy to talk through directly. Please reach out and we will have an honest conversation.
If you are having trouble with a payment, please reach out as soon as you can. We understand that recovery comes with real-life challenges, and we would rather talk things through early than have you carry that stress alone. Our late payment policy will be outlined clearly in your agreement before move-in.
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world. Steady Ground Living never sees or stores your card or bank account information. Your details go directly to Stripe through an encrypted connection.
