Who Can Join

Eligibility
Steady Ground Living is open to men 18 and older who are committed to their sobriety and ready to be part of a safe, supportive community.

Sobriety

A Drug and Alcohol Free Home
Our home is a drug and alcohol free environment, and the use or possession of any mood-altering substances is not permitted on the property at any time.
Drug and Alcohol Testing
Participants agree to submit to random drug and alcohol testing at any time to help protect the safe environment everyone here has worked hard to build.

Community Life

Curfew
Curfew times vary by house and differ between weekdays and weekends, and overnight passes are available with advance notice to house leadership.
Employment
Participants are expected to be actively pursuing employment, and a bus pass is provided during the first week to support that effort.
Recovery and House Meetings
Participants engage with a recovery program of their own choosing and attend Sunday afternoon house meetings as an important part of our community.

Program fees vary by house, are due at the weekly house meeting, and will always be clearly communicated before move-in.
